There should always be a fresh start for whatever you do in
life. I guess this was the same which at all started with me from the day I
started my journey to explore a new life in terms of job, expectations,
satisfaction and responsibility. The first experience of sitting on a flight
was quite exciting for me as the butterfly which rose in my stomach kept me
awake till the end of my journey. The pleasure to look from the top of the sky
and then to analyze the beauty of it was amusing. It gave me a good lesion to
learn that whatever be the situation, you are the same tiny person, who can do
as much as he wants but can’t be bigger than the sky. So always fly to go high,
look at the broader picture no matter what and then compare with your past
achievement you will really love that.
The first day at Trivandrum was quite interesting as coming
to a new location, environment and then getting a chance to meet with different
people from diverse background was quite amazing in one’s own way.
The second day induction at company’s auditorium gave us an
inclination towards what we are going to be in coming few years which included
the TATA’s value system, integrity, commitment and trust, which I am yet to
explore and work upon on its reality in my own way. The day was followed by
various formalities, rules and regulations which were the part of the induction
curriculum, which more or less felt like I am in my college days. And then here
comes the location preference ceremony which was alike every associate sitting
in that auditorium wanted to hear and get. I was also one of the dignities to
choose my preference with much of the confusion and uncertainty to get the
desired location. At later stage the confusion and surprise for locations was
revealed and I was amazed with the location I got, as it never existed in my
preference list at all. I was allocated “Chennai” as my final location, I was
surprised and tense at the same time, and I could not do anything at all to
save myself from worry. There were others too who were denied with their
preference so at least I had few shoulders to share my feelings .LOL
Well to get myself refreshed we visited kovlam in the first
week, which was quite amazing in its own way, it really gave me satisfaction to
relax and make my mind calm and composed and think on the bigger picture. I
consoled myself and made my mind to start my journey to the place which is like
an alien place for me, but I said to myself that there is always blessing in
disguise, so look at the brighter side of it.
So we again ventured another tourist place named as “Poover” which is a
back water river meeting into the sea, and I felt that it was the same for me
as well, it has to move somewhere and become a part of big journey.
We enjoyed as much we can, because life never stops and we
should always be happy in what we get ,and this positive thought stills keep me
awake and energized of what I am doing and what I shall be doing at later
years.
My journey for another part of life has started and let’s
hopes whatever comes in between is welcomed by joy of learning and experience
in form of good one, bad one. As someone has rightly said that life is not a
bed of roses, so we must keep ourselves ready for the thorns as well.
